Announcing the Inaugural Australasian Meeting of the ISCT

We extend an invitation to attend the inaugural Australasian regional meeting of the ISCT to be held in Adelaide 17 October 2009.

Sessions on the clinical application of innovative cellular therapies for the treatments of neural, bone and skin defects are planned. Also planned is a session focussing on the regulation of cellular therapies in Australia. Invited international and national speakers include Drs Mary Laughlin, Robert Dean, Lesley Wolfe and Stan Gronthos. As well key Australian regulatory bodies will be represented. There will also be workshop facilitating discussions between practitioners from industry and academia. The venue is the Bradley Forum of the new Hawke Building on the western campus of the University of SA on North Terrace, Adelaide in close proximity to the Adelaide Convention Centre with a number of reasonably-priced options for accommodation located nearby.

A registration fee of $A120 applies and includes attendance at all sessions with food and beverages provided during coffee and lunch breaks. Registration is from 7:30 am for a 8:30 am start and the meeting closes with a reception at 7:15 pm.
